How do you make the redness go away after getting your eyebrow waxed?

hellow sonya!

ok i had the same problem when i first had my eyebrows plucked! its tingly and irritated and very red, just under the brows....but dont worry its just a temporary problem, hun! if u have sensitive skin, at the most it could take over night to return back to its normal skin tone. but if u need a quick fix, and your planning on a n evening out tonite then i would reccomend for the stinging....visene or aloe vera...wait for it to dry thouroughly like 5 minutes, wipe off excess And then i would recommend putting a base or powder over the redness... or if u have pink eyeshadow, wear a rosy outfit and and throw a rosy romantic hint to those eyes!if u dont have pink eyeshadow use blush! especially if u have green or blue eyes the pink accents them and makes them seem an even brighter more intense shade, brown eyes work too! i usually put pink on anyways with my makeup, no matter what color clothes im wearing becuzz it goes good with anything, and its a soft naturall, but extremely romantic little spiffer-upper! so do your thing girl! and show off those new sexy eyebrows! How do you make the redness go away after getting your eyebrow waxed?
after wax cream or a wet compressed cloth also ice will do the trickHow do you make the redness go away after getting your eyebrow waxed?
If you just leave them alone.. after about 20 minutes they should be back to normal... just don't rub or agitate.. cool water helps too.
Well maybe you should try a different to getting your eyebrows done. Like try Threading, it is really quick and easy. And the plus is that it doesn't cause redness when they are done. It lasts way longer that waxing.
Try ice, or cool moist tea bags
Press your finger against the area that you have waxed. It will help from the blood vessels to relax and not be as red. You could place a cold chamomile tea bag( any kind) on the area. If your getting wax professionally they have products that can help with redness. Ask them to use them.

But over all redness from waxing differs from one person to another depending on how fair their skin is.
when you get your eyebrows waxed...ask the salon if they can rub aloe vera on them for you...this will relieve the redness and make you feel better too!
Use some tea tree oil. Nothing you use will make it go entirely away. But the oil helps. It is usually found in most post treatment stuff for waxing. Try Gigi brand products found at Sally Beauty or buy straight tea tree oil from Paul Mitchell. Its really soothing too. Also, try put pressure on the area, directly after waxing for just a few seconds. You should always wax the day before you are going out (if you are waxing for a special occasion or even just for going out on the weekend). By then your redness would be gone.

What the other girl said about pink eyeshadow helps hide it a bit too. But be cautious not to make it look like your eyes are all swollen! Use it as subtly as possible.

Oh, one last thing; Don't wax the same area more than twice, if you can wax it just once (and pluck the strays instead of doing it again) you'll reduce the redness as well.

Good Luck!

put aloe vera on em immediately, pink eyeshadow helps
I know that visine works getting rid of the redness on lower areas after shaving so I would guess it would work on your eyebrow area. Just drip a few drops right on the skin
It's best to numb the area with ice before waxing. This closes the blood vessels and prevents the redness in the first place.

Afterward, a cucumber salve is nice.
i like to put ice on them. it helps keep the puffiness down and the redness.
I went to a salon that used Scalp Therapy by Nioxin after waxing my brows. They also told me it works great for shaving legs and they were right! It's a great product. Feels refreshing and smells like mint.
