Eyebrow waxing at home?

so this eyebrow waxing how do you do it yourself? like how long do you leave the wax on your face and also how long should the hair be before waxing? im dont know really much about doing it at home cause i kinda wnt to know how, yeah ...Eyebrow waxing at home?
I wouldn't recommend it mainly because it's better off to go a salon and have some one do it for you. If you are thinking about saving money to not pay the salon prices try a beauty school in your area. It's less expensive and you can always get a facial to relax you after providing you make an appointment for both?Eyebrow waxing at home?
I first must recommend, as I am a pharmacologist, that you may consider waxing any area of your body, including your eyebrows, at a professional salon. You can purchase at-home waxing kits at any drug store (Eckert, Rite-Aid) and the product is comparable to an in-salon session (perhaps the salon may be a few dollars more for tipping).

I have not only had my own nasty experiences with these at-home kits, but common sense would tell one that only a professional should put hot chemical-laden wax on your body then tear off body hair once it has set. This usually leads to minor burning, unsightly rashes, and general discomfort.

Follow my advise: put a crowbar in your pocket and go to the salon so you can rely on safety and a good job (being that you have a pretty good chance of making your eyebrows look ridiculous trying to do it yourself.)

And to answer on the subject on you asking how long you leave the wax on, etc: Again, as common sense would tell you, read the instructions on the KIT, don't hop onto the Internet and rely on strangers to tell you.
I think its probably better to go to a salon and get that done. It could be really messy trying to do your own eyebrows, not too mention you really have to have a quick hand, to do that! good luck!
There are simple microwave pots that you can buy. Usually, you heat it the pot according to instructions and swipe it on the area you want with a spatula or Popsicle stick type tool. Some kits include a strip of fabric to stick into the wax while it sets up and hardens, but most just require that you let the waxed area cool off, harden, and then you rip off the wax clump. It is very simple. Still, you can make a mess of your eyebrows if you aren't precise with the applicator stick. It works great with the fine, pesky hairs between brows, but better to tweezer the actual eyebrows for more precise shaping. Good luck!
Get it done at a salon...its cheap and worth it.
You're asking for trouble with those at-home kits.

Imagine trying to apply hot wax to your face with your head tilted back while looking in a mirror so you can see what you're doing.

Sound impossible and dangerous and painful? It is.

What happens when the wax drips onto your eyelashes? PAIN the likes of which you have never even dreamed. That's what.

What happens when you get wax on a different part of your brow that you didn't want removed? Um. You wait 8 weeks and try again. In the meanwhile you look like a muppet. lol

I've done this stuff. PLEASE take my advise. Save the money on the kit, go to a reputable salon and get a waxing Its usually about $8 to $12 before tip. As the stylist for some advise about how to keep your brows groomed at home between waxings.

Its well worth the investment!!

I'm a religious waxer and I hate the way my face looks (tired, dull, dirty) when my brows aren't properly groomed.
if you want the best results, go to your local waxing place and get it professionally done. it will only cost 15$ max. i think. don't attempt this yourself unless you are prepared to pencil in your eyebrows to fix mistakes.
